Cuba is preparing today to hold the National Employment Fair in all the provinces of the Caribbean nation, called for next Friday by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

According to the agency, the event is a good opportunity for citizens to find job offers and training courses.

Usually these events are coordinated by the municipal and labour directorates, under the guidance of local authorities.

The Job Fairs are part of the actions developed in the country to promote access to quality occupations and reduce informality in the labour market, which is in line with the National Development Plan until 2030.

These events involve the participation of employers from different forms of management, such as state enterprises, non-agricultural cooperatives, self-employed workers and also micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
