A delegation of young Cuban scientists is in the Russian capital for an exchange with counterparts from the Slavic nation under the program «Cuba and Russia together for health», Prensa Latina learned today.

As part of the work program, the scientists from the Caribbean nation held a meeting with deputies and members of the Semashko National Research Institute of Public Health, attached to the Health and Protection Committee of the State Duma (lower house) of the Russian Federation.

They also visited the National Research Centers for Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Health and the Brain and Neurotechnology, as well as the Moscow State Medical and Dental University named after Evdokimov and the Research Institute of Pneumology.

As a conclusion of the visit, which will last a week, the young Cuban and Russian specialists plan to analyze the results of the exchange with the directors of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, in order to deepen the utilities and perspective of this type of events.
