The Forceful Pope Leo XIV Versus the Disrespectful Trump

Pope Leo XIV gave a lesson to politicians, dignitaries and personalities around the world on how to respond to the continuous irreverent statements and intimidation of the US president, Donald Trump.

The highest authority of the Catholic Church was not intimidated by the White House incumbent, who disrespectfully described him as weak and terrible in his foreign policy due to his calls for global peace, dialogue and multilateralism to find solutions to international problems.

Speaking to the press on his way to his first African tour this week, the Pontiff stated that he was not afraid of Trump or his administration, and stressed that he would continue to speak out against wars, promoting dialogue and reconciliation among all peoples.

He also criticised the threats of the head of the Washington regime to destroy Iranian civilisation, and urged him to find a way out that would end the conflict with the Persian nation.

Leo XIV also pointed out that he did not want to enter into a debate with the US president, an evident dismissive response to the discourteous statements of the White House occupant.

He clarified, however, that he would continue fearlessly to promote peace, while also proclaiming the message of the Gospel aloud.

In the opinion of various media sources and political analysts, the Pope was forceful with Trump and put in his place someone considered the worst president in US history.

Never before have his predecessors spoken in such crude terms towards a pontiff, which speaks volumes about the current US president’s well-known aggressive behaviour.

Verbal attacks on Leo XIV by Trump have received severe criticism in the international press, on social media and from citizens in the US, where there are more than 70 million Catholics, around 20 per cent of its population.

The Washington leader, in his narcissism, seems not only to aspire to be the emperor of the world, but also God, but evidently his actions are backfiring on him.
