The Electrical Union forecasts a 1 280 MW load for the night-time peak.

The Electrical Union estimates an availability of 1 870 MW and a maximum demand of 3 080 MW for the night-time peak hour, for a deficit of 1 210 MW, so that, if the forecast conditions are maintained, an impact of 1 280 MW is predicted for this time of day.

For the peak, the entry of unit 6 of CTE Renté with 60 MW (in the start-up process) and unit 3 of Energas Varadero, with 30 MW, is estimated.

SEN availability at 07:00 hours was 1 780 MW and demand was 2 000 MW, with 371 MW affected by generation deficit. At midday, a deficit of 700 MW is estimated, with a greater incidence in the central-eastern zone due to the high transfer of energy to that zone.

Yesterday, the service was affected by a shortfall in generation capacity from 04:13 hours. The maximum impact due to generation deficit was 1 416 MW at 18:20, coinciding with the hour of maximum demand. At 00:23 hours in the early hours of the morning, the shortfall was re-established and began to be affected again at 05:05 hours this morning. The effect is concentrated in the central-eastern area due to high energy transfers to this area.

Unit 2 of CTE Felton and units 3 and 6 of CTE Renté are experiencing faults. Unit 2 of CTE Santa Cruz, units 3 and 4 of CTE Cienfuegos and unit 5 of CTE Renté are under maintenance.

The limitations in thermal generation are 293 MW.

Due to fuel shortages, 78 distributed generation plants are out of service with 466 MW and 7 engines at the Moa plant with 96 MW, for a total of 562 MW affected by this cause.
