How to make radio more dynamic and in tune with the times, with a greater focus on the large audience that follows the events of the territory, enjoys the music, is educated and entertained, marked the debates of the 2024 balance report presented at the assembly of the Morón radio station.
The growing presence on social networks, the search for solutions to the shortage of staff, especially sound engineers, as well as the constant improvement of quality, as a premise to remain in the hearts of the people, were topics of analysis during the meeting.
The radio broadcasters were in favour of becoming better and better in their artistic work and taking advantage of all the potential of the new Law on Social Communication in line with the essential needs of information and the greater approach of the listeners of the broadcasting medium, which has its essence in the very roots of the territory and the protagonism of its people.
Alfredo Fernández Arcia, provincial director of the radio station in Ciego de Ávila, praised the efforts of the collective even in the midst of technological difficulties, with a sense of belonging, dedication and dedication to maintain the interrelationship gained in their daily work with the listeners of Morón and surrounding areas as far as the radio signal reaches.
In making the conclusions of the balance assembly, Benito Martínez Ausina, first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Morón, recognised the work of the workers and reiterated the support of the political and mass organisations, as well as that of the government for the radio station.
At the meeting, which was also attended by Rolando Valle de Posada, deputy mayor of the territory, important objectives were outlined for the management of the medium during 2025, aimed at increasing its presence in social networks, for greater immediacy of news and to maintain the essence of the programming that guarantees the raison d’être of community radio.
