The Committee of the Union of Young Communists in the municipality of Majagua calls to witness at noon this January 5 the crossing through the territory of the reissue of the Caravan of Freedom.

The invitation is extended jointly with the mass organizations and the UJC, to all members of the community to be at 1:00 pm in areas on the border with the province of Sancti Spiritus, where a cultural activity will take place.

As part of the program, a representation of the land where they dance and triumph will participate together with the caravanists in the delivery to those in charge of giving continuity on Yayabero soil of the reenactment of the historic event that preceded the entry into Havana of the rebels led by Fidel on January 8, 1959.

The Freedom Caravan will arrive in Ciego de Avila at approximately 9:00 a.m. today from the neighboring province of Camagüey and at noon it will continue on its way to the province of Sancti Spiritus.

On the 65th anniversary of the Revolutionary Triumph, the patriotic tour began last Tuesday in Santiago de Cuba in the presence of the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, together with other leaders.
