The strengthening of local government actors and Community Work as a means for local management is one of the main objectives developed by the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, the Federation of Cuban Women and the Assembly of Popular Power in the municipality of Hummock.

Fostering collective participation in local community development is essential in the current circumstances of the country and territory.

Attention to vulnerable families, mothers of three or more children, social work in the community, attention to the family doctor and nurse, the activation of all factors in society constitute working premises for these mass organizations.
