A conference called «La salud avileña tiene corazón» will be held in honor of the 71st anniversary of the foundation of the Provincial General Teaching Hospital Doctor Antonio Luaces Iraola, in the capital of the province.

The event will be held from November 16 to December 2, and its objective is to present the results of research carried out at the center in order to discuss and disseminate them.

In addition, new projects that will raise the scientific level of the health institution will be promoted.

Dr. Yelec Estrada, science and innovation methodologist at the provincial hospital, added that the event will also serve to honor professors and researchers for the Day of Latin American Medicine on December 2.

The Doctor Antonio Luaces Iraola provincial hospital has the category of science and technology entity and is recognized as a Development and Innovation Unit for its multiple actions of professional improvement.
