On December 14, Morón received special recognition for being declared the most integral municipality in the province of Avila in the Culture sector, for the results of its work during 2023.

The recognition was given to Héctor Hernández, director of this organism in the territory, during the celebration of the Provincial Act for the Day of the Culture Worker, which was held in the municipality of Majagua.

The recognition took into account the union work, the contributions to the Culture of the territory in its various manifestations and the work of management of the different cultural institutions.

In the heat of the day for the Day of the Cultural Worker, several activities have been developed in the municipality, among others, a meeting of music bands, the celebration of the 42nd anniversary of the Caonabo Museum, exhibitions and exchanges, among other proposals (Written by Leonel Iparraguirre González).
