The installation of a generator to replace the damaged one allowed mobile and landline telephony to be connected in Primero de Enero last night.

The irregularity presented during the hours of power cuts, which occurred between Monday and Tuesday, was difficult to re-establish promptly due to the constant failures of the radiator attached to the ETECSA power generator.

Raúl Alemán Espinosa, Head of the Telephone Centre in this territory, said that the replacement of the equipment is temporary, since it offers the opportunity to work in time to fix the emergency generator.

The entity apologises for the inconvenience caused to the users of the municipality who experienced the fall of the data networks and basic telephony. (Yoandris Chamorro Belén)
