The municipality of Majagua, in recognition of the defenders of the musical sonorities of the 60s and 70s of the last century, will hold a new provincial meeting of Clubs of the so-called prodigious decade on Saturday 25th May.

The recreational areas of the state MIPIME «Río Majagua» are the site chosen for the development of the enjoyable proposal, in which representatives of the municipalities of Morón, Ciego de Ávila, Baraguá and Mayajiguas have already confirmed their participation.

In Majagua, located in the southwest of the province of Ciego de Avila, it has become customary over time to bring together admirers of the music that more than half a century ago won popular sympathy through activities promoted by the cultural sector in coordination with gastronomic facilities.

Among the peculiarities of these women and men is a musical group created 38 years ago called Diamante, winner of the Escaramujo prize, and which, under the direction of Raúl Jiménez Pérez, and the vocalists Pedro, José Antonio and Javier keep alive such well-known pieces as «Vuelve a casa», «Renacerá», «Te he prometido», «Vuelve a casa», «Renacerá», «Te he prometido», «Momentos», «La vida», «La vida», «La vida» and «Te he prometido». «Momentos», «La vida sigue igual» and «Tú me dijiste adiós».

Musicians, dancers and singers from the municipality of Majagua in favour of the so-called prodigious decade, in addition to organising their activities, have taken their joy and consecration to other areas of the province of Avila and neighbouring territories.
