The Communist Youth Union (UJC) in the province of Ciego de Avila successfully launched a new project called Youth Party in the Neighbourhood, with a joyful activity in areas of the 47th constituency of the Catalina community, belonging to the Patria Popular Council, in the municipality of Morón, dedicated to International Women’s Day.

Yasmany Rodríguez La Rosa, a member of the UJC National Directorate, who is in charge of the Young Workers and Combatants; Benito Martínez Ausina, first secretary of the Party in Morón; Celia María López Reyes, president of the Municipal Assembly, and Naylín Machado Avila, top youth leader in the municipality of Morón, came to this place together with children, adolescents and young people.

The joy and fun multiplied with the offers provided by the Sports Department, artists from the D’Morón Theatre Company, and the parade of musical performers such as Mariachis, José Carlos Alfonso and other applauded voices of the territory.

At the Youth Party in Catalina, cards were given to young people joining the ranks of the Federation of Cuban Women and six outstanding students from the Federation of High School Students and the Federation of University Students received awards for their contributions and youth initiatives.

The Avilanian UJC will continue with this initiative in different communities of the province aimed at stimulating children and young people, as continuers of the revolutionary work.
