The member of the Political Bureau and President of the National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, held an exchange this Thursday with managers and workers at the Jardines del Rey Airport, north of Morón, in Ciego de Ávila.

The highest authorities from Ciego de Avila, Liván Izquierdo Alonso, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party, and Governor Alfre Menéndez Pérez participated in the meeting.

This province is the subject of a parliamentary visit, in which Homero Acosta Álvarez, Secretary of the Cuban Parliament and Mirían Brito Sacorra, President of the Commission for Attention to Local Bodies of People’s Power also participate.

At the beginning of the visit, the visitirs are interested in attention to the proposals and the work system of the Government to promote the socio-economic life of the territory.

Between June 14 and 17, eight permanent work commissions of the National Assembly of Popular Power will carry out a parliamentary visit, the first of its kind by the X Legislature of the Cuban legislature, with an intense program in the municipalities of Baraguá, Ciego de Ávila, Ciro Redondo, Majagua, Morón and Venezuela.
