An evaluation of the main results in the introduction of science and innovation in various sectors in the province of Ciego de Avila was carried out by the territorial delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA).

The analysis included the development in the Mother and Child Programme with all its factors, and the state of compliance with the agreements of the Energy Programme Pole and the use of Renewable Energy Sources in the province.

In addition, the proposals of national priorities and strategic projects of science and innovation were presented in order to insert them into the interests and needs of various sectors of the Avila territory.

CITMA in Ciego de Avila has activated its work to bring all the scientific potential to the development of each productive, economic and social sector and to intensify research and the improvement of local professionals.
