The Trucks Business Unit was awarded the venue for the closing activities of the 59th National Traffic Day held this Friday in Ciego de Ávila.

Sonia Hernández Talavera, executive secretary of the Provincial Road Safety Commission, explained the entity’s performance in the tasks for road education and accident prevention, in addition to presenting the condition of national reference center, made it worthy of the distinction.

Among the activities that marked the closing of the day was the skills competition between outstanding drivers of the different units in the territory, as well as the presentation of the circle of interest of the municipal education department of the municipality of Morón.

The awarding of prizes to the winners of the children’s contest «Children and Traffic» and the recognition to accident-free drivers, entities, sub commissions and officers of the patrol and motorized traffic detachments, with results in education and accident prevention.
