2022: Solidarity made new thrusts

The Movement of Solidarity with Cuba reached higher goals in the midst of enormous challenges and an extremely complex international scenario, with resource limitations, risks and threats, but with a great sense of moral, ethical and political commitment.

In 2022, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples has 1,649 friendship associations in 150 countries and 73 alumni associations in 62 nations.

Solidarity with Cuba achieved important political successes and its activism was much higher, both in person and from different digital platforms.

More than 7,200 actions were carried out globally against the criminal and unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government.

2023: Stronger

The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples is planning for next year important international events such as the V International Conference for the Balance of the World, in January; an international event of Solidarity with Cuba CTC-ICAP, in May; and in July, the Caribbean Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada Barracks.

In 2023, fourteen brigades of volunteer work and solidarity will be received. In addition, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples will celebrate the National Act for the Day of Latin American and Caribbean Dignity; the days of solidarity with Puerto Rico, and the one for Peace and against the Blockade, among others.

The year 2023 will be another stage of struggle and battle for just causes and against the criminal and inhuman siege imposed by the U.S. government.
