A total of 14 patients injured in the massive traffic accident that occurred last Monday on the route from Morón to Turiguanó Island continue to be hospitalised, nine of them in the Roberto Rodríguez hospital in Ciudad del Gallo, and five in the Antonio Luaces Iraola hospital in Ciego de Ávila.

Receiving intensive care are Dagnery Acosta López, 23, Zulema Rodríguez González, 30, and Aniuska Planché Speck, 38, all reported to be in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the other 11 injured, among them Madelaine Martínez Arnabos, Odalmis Cabrera Futet and Alexis Guisander Rodríguez, are in the orthopaedic service, and Leannys Pérez García, who is in surgery.

The Neurosurgery service of the Roberto Rodríguez hospital is looking after the recovery of Annia Bringas Cuelli, Lauren Menéndez Vázquez, Kevin Jiménez García, Jilián Tabraure Chao, Luis López Infante, Yasiel Mayea Mainet and Roxana Romero Pérez.
