The Youth Computer and Electronics Clubs of Ciego de Ávila expand their support in the computerization process of Cuban society by working together with the Ministry of Justice in online procedures through the Ticket application.
Darisleixy Garrachana Rodríguez, deputy director of Institutional Communication in the provincial direction of the Young Clubs of Ciego de Ávila, informed the Cuban News Agency that the objective is to socialize, streamline and digitize as soon as possible the services provided by the Civil Registry, highly demanded in recent time.
Garrachana Rodríguez added that in each of the technological institutions distributed in the 10 municipalities of the territory, the staff is trained to carry out the procedures requested by the interested parties, who must pay for them.
Among the documents that can be requested this way are birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates, added the deputy director.
She commented that this collaboration with the Ministry of Justice also includes instruction and advice to clients on these issues, so that, through the Ticket platform, they can carry out their errands online and learn to make payments on electronic gateways from their mobile phones.
They also install different applications on cell phones such as Ticket, EnZona, Transfermóvil; and they offer courses to instruct the population, including email and payment gateways.
They contribute, in the same way, to the digitalization of the registers in the Offices of the Consumer Registry (Oficoda), and for this process to flow, they offer computer rental and advice and implementation of the Excel program.
The services they provide have a marked social character, since they guide the use of new technologies to solve the most dissimilar demands and problems of Cuban society in matters related to computing, communications and electronics.
