In accordance with the provisions of Article 19 (b) of Law 132 of 2019, Humberto Fleitas Portal, President of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in Majagua, convened the 13th ordinary session of the current mandate.

This meeting, scheduled for Saturday 25 May at 10.30 a.m., will be held in the meeting room of the governing body and will be circulated among the delegates to the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, deputies to the Cuban Parliament, administrative directorates. Political and mass organisations, judicial bodies, the media and all natural and legal persons interested in knowing about it.

In addition to the state of compliance with the agreements adopted in previous sessions, the draft agenda proposes an assessment of the progress of the fight against social indiscipline and crime at the request of districts and municipalities.

Other aspects to be discussed by the 39 delegates who make up the group in charge of representing the people before the Municipal Assembly are: the financing of the land tax, the investigation process regarding livestock and land use, the progress of the delivery of resources to the municipality, and food and nutritional sovereignty.

In addition, answers to constituents’ concerns will be evaluated and the People’s Council Orlando González will give an account of its attributions.
