The process X Congress of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, CDR, at the municipal level will begin in this province of Ciego de Ávila on May 4, through the territory of Primero de Enero.

Dania Jiménez Rodríguez, member of the CDR provincial secretariat, informed that also next Thursday, but in the afternoon, the assembly will be held in Bolivia and so on in the 10 Avilanian municipalities, until concluding on June 21.

The leader added that more than two thousand meetings were held at the base, in which the work carried out during 2022 was analyzed, with an emphasis on popular revolutionary surveillance and attention to children, adolescents and young people.

The process allows the revitalization and strengthening of the organization’s structures, and the recognition of those who stand out the most in the transformations of the neighborhood.

Between the months of June and July, the X Congress of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution will take place at the provincial level and on September 28 the national conclave will take place.
