The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), in popular police fusion, will carry out today and tomorrow the Bolivarian Shield Exercise 2025 to guarantee and guarantee peace throughout the territory.

The Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, General in Chief Domingo Hernández, reported the day before that the FANB is advancing in preparations «for its deployment throughout the country in the execution of the popular, military and police exercises Bolivarian Shield».

Hernández recalled on his Instagram account that the exercises will take place on Wednesday and Thursday «for a peaceful, sovereign and democratic Venezuela!

This will be the first popular military-police exercise this year in which participants will defend «borders, towns, coasts, cities and vital elements of the country», President Nicolás Maduro announced last Sunday.

The head of state called to march together in a perfect popular military-police fusion to «demonstrate that Venezuela has the power to live in peace, in the exercise of its full sovereignty, in democracy and freedom».

In a statement, the Venezuelan Minister of Defence, General Vladimir Padrino, said that this exercise will be carried out at «a superlative strategic, operational and tactical level».

The sectoral vice-president for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace explained that interoperability between organised people, military units and security bodies will be optimised in its different phases.

In addition to the more synchronised deployment of multiple weapons systems and mixed Rapid Reaction Units, he said.

The commanding general pointed out that «operations that guarantee military defence and the internal order of the country» will be implemented.

They will also ensure the functioning of basic services and the security of strategic installations, «while at the same time making our cities and borders impregnable throughout the national geographic space,» he said.

Padrino declared the «unfathomable pride» that the entire nation has begun a new year marked by the triumph of democracy and institutionality.

However, he warned that «internal and external enemies, in their frustration, do not cease to generate threats and aggressions to cause anxiety and instability, but they will never succeed,» he warned.

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, announced last Monday at a press conference that the political organisation will actively participate in the military exercises Escudo Bolivariano 2025.

He pointed out that all Venezuelans who love this country are invited to the exercises and noted that tomorrow the revolutionary militancy and the Chavista people will take to the streets in defence of the Bolivarian Revolution and to commemorate the 67th anniversary of the civic-military rebellion of 1958.
