Seminars of the XXII Congress of the CTC begin in Ciego de Avila

The provincial training was held yesterday. The training began today and will conclude tomorrow in the 10 municipalities of Avila.

In Ciego de Avila, the provincial seminars for the preparation of the process prior to the XXII Congress of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (Workers’ Central of Cuba) began in the country.

Leaders of the 10 municipalities and of the Provincial Unions participated in the training activity presided over by Leobanys Avila Góngora, member of the National Secretariat of the CTC; Yanet Sánchez Cabrera, Party official and Niurka Ferrer Castillo, top union leader in the territory of Avila.

Mariset Hernández Rodríguez, member of the Provincial Secretariat of the trade union organization, informed that they started today and will conclude tomorrow the seminars in the 10 municipalities, in order to guarantee the quality of the near beginning of the organic process of the great event of the Cuban workers, in the context of the celebrations for the new anniversary of the CTC, which will be 85 years old on the 28th of this month.

He emphasized that the trade union movement and its affiliates started the new year with tasks of repercussion in the labor scenario among which he mentioned the realization of the preparations to start this month the assemblies for the presentation of the plan of the economy and the budget for 2024.

«The program includes the realization of the national event for the Food Industry Workers’ Day, next 25th, at Empresa de Bebidas y Refrescos (EMBER), and the provincial activity for the birthday of our organization to be held on the 27th, at the Artex Branch», highlighted Mariset.
