The designation of this municipality as the headquarters of the central activities of the Province of Ciego de Avila, for the 71st anniversary of the historic deed of July 26th, has had a notable impact on different labour groups in Morón.

The first to express their jubilation and joy at the news were the workers in the cultural sector, including the D’MorónTeatro Company, which invaded the area of Agramonte Park as soon as the municipalities and the venue were announced.

Rubiseida Infante, director of the Seminternado Ignacio Agramonte, considers that this victory is in correspondence with the efforts and dedication of everyone and our centre is celebrating in style because we have fulfilled all the indicators,» she said with emotion.

For their part, the directors of Education in Morón, made a stop in the preparation for the next school year to celebrate this victory as a municipality of 26 July. (Leonel Iparraguirre González)
