For 75 years Radio Morón has been the voice of the community, bringing music, news and culture to every corner of the city. 14 November marks the start of the radio station’s anniversary celebrations.

Aneli Rodríguez Morales, Director of Radio Morón in her opening remarks spoke of the love of her people for each delivery on the loudspeaker and recalled in her words the women and men who have made a sound that transcends borders from the heart of every Morón resident.

With a parade, made up of the D’Morón Theatre Company and young artists from the city, the second edition of the Radio Carnival began, a great festival where radio broadcasters and the people in general come together to pay homage to their radio.

This day will end with the Gala Gala to be held on 19 November from 9.00 p.m. at the Teatro Reguero.

Accompanying the workers at the inauguration were: Benito Martínez Ausina, First Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Party, and Celia María López Reyes, President of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, as well as Alfredo Fernández Arcia, Director of the Provincial Radio Network in Ciego de Ávila.
