With an activity held in the «Granito de Canela» baby library, the Roberto Rivas Fraga provincial public library opened its doors and celebrated the resumption of the 2022 school year with games, poetry, riddles and the oral narration of the story «The Magic Beans «.

This room, dedicated to those “crazy” little children, joins the rest of the spaces of the renowned Avilanian cultural center which, after the summer period, once again focuses its work on the students, who have a second school in the Rivas Fraga after returning to the classrooms.

According to Dunia Pérez Hernández, communicator of the institution, they maintain close ties with educational centers such as the José de la Luz y Caballero elementary school and the Pablo Elvio Pérez Cabrera junior high school, which students are regular audiences in the activities of their program.

On June 30, 2023, the Roberto Rivas Fraga Provincial Public Library will celebrate six decades of work. In all this time, in spite of the pilgrimage of its facilities through different buildings of the provincial capital, it has remained as a center of obligatory visit for the students, which today has at its disposal a group of workers willing to satisfy every need of knowledge.
