Educators in Ciego de Ávila are strengthening preparation for the Higher Education entrance exams, with two shifts of daily classes in Mathematics, Spanish and History for twelfth grade students who will take the exams.
Sandalio Luna Echemendía, methodologist of school organization of the Pre-university educational level in the province, explained that the teachers of these subjects receive concentrated preparation on Saturdays in four sites located in the localities of Baraguá, Morón, Chambas and the avilanian territory, where the collaborators will perfect the strategy to be followed.
The school organization methodologist called on the families to attend the weekly meetings and to continue supporting the students so that they are present at the reviews in their schools.
The ordinary convocation will be held on November 15, 18 and 22, with Mathematics, Spanish and History of Cuba, respectively, and the special convocation will be held on January 9, 11 and 13, 2023.
The province has 1,576 students in 12th grade, who have at their disposal 1,864 places for continuing their studies, therefore, it will depend on the effort of each young person to obtain the desired career.
The process of admission to the University will have similar characteristics to the previous period, maintaining the precepts of rigor, transparency and the best right, in coherence with the legal instruments in force.
