The University of Ciego de Avila «Máximo Gómez Báez» (Unica) will graduate more than 900 new professionals in various specialities, who will contribute to the economic and social development of this province.

The graduates, who will receive their degrees next week, belong to the areas of Economic and Business Sciences, Social and Humanistic, Pedagogical, Computer Science, Exact, Technical, and Physical Culture and Sport.

After several years of dedication and sacrifices, the winners of the Golden Title and the Scientific Merit Award will be honoured, as well as the most outstanding in the categories of Student Assistant, Teaching, Sports, Culture and Defence activities.

The graduation ceremony of the University of Ciego de Avila «Máximo Gómez Báez», in which more than 900 new professionals will receive their degrees, will take place on 18 July in the Sala Techada of the Avilanian capital.
