The incineration of skeletal remains of those who died more than three years ago is a new service that the cemetery of this city of Ciego de Ávila will begin to provide.

This was reported by Yanet Montalvo Medina, administrator of the facility, who added that interested relatives must come during office hours to request this assistance.

She also mentioned that they work in the cleaning, organization, veneering and maintenance of areas, with the aim that everything is ready for the traditional tribute that takes place there on Father’s Day.

That is why she called on the relatives of those who died more than two years ago to appear at the cemetery to carry out the exhumation of the remains, which will be done ex officio if they do not show up.

In the same way, she called on the owners of vaults and land in the Avilanian cemetery to join the cleanup actions, and warned that those whose areas remain grassed will be fined.
