On Friday 20 September in the municipality of Majagua, the process of accountability of the delegate to his constituents at the request of the communities will begin with five demonstration meetings.

The areas chosen for the meetings include all the Popular Councils, located in the 1st district in the head town of the delegate Yunier Alvarez Garcia, the 13th of Guayacanes of the delegate Mailin Soto Pina, the 26th of Fidelina Mamonal, attended by Yurisaidy Pardo Abat, the 34th of Orlando Gonzalez, represented by Florisdenia Rodriguez Beune and the 39th of Limones Palmero whose delegate is Zaily Garcia Macarro.

Humberto Fleitas Portal, deputy to the Cuban Parliament and president of the Municipal Government Body, said that a training programme for delegates is currently underway at the district level, followed by a provincial meeting scheduled for Thursday 12 September.

Also, in order to support the new process of accountability of the delegates to their electors, in the southwest of Avila, the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba, the Comités de Defensa de la Revolución, the Federación de Mujeres Cubanas, the Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas, the Asociación Nacional de Agricultores Pequeños and the padrinos de circunscripciones.
