Activities for all tastes and ages, including the opening of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade Hall on 10 October in the morning in Martí Park, and the opening of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade Hall in the Hugo Cortijo Gallery on 16 October, are part of the Day of Cuban Culture in Morón.

The Cuban Music Performance Festival Orlando Pino in Memoriam on the 20th October at five o’clock in the afternoon at the Casa de la Cultura Haydee Santamaría will be the highlight of the event.

There will also be options in communities, popular councils and neighbourhoods and the closing event on the 20th at nine o’clock in the morning at the Reverbero Project in Agramonte Park.

This year’s Cuban Culture Day will be dedicated to Alejo Carpentier and the 20th anniversary of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade. (Author:Eldy Mariño Córdova)
