The graduation of the University Chair for the Elderly, corresponding to the 2022-2023 school year, is a recent event in the Bolivian municipality of Avileña.

The faculty and the board of directors of the University Branch of the aforementioned locality have worked under the concept of «Education for all», with opportunities for senior citizens, motivated to expand their knowledge.

A large group of elderly people from the northern municipality of Ciego de Avila went through several subjects of general culture, until they graduated from university level.

In Cuba, education is free and inclusive, with possibilities for everyone to realize their potential in the effort to have an educated society prepared for the challenges of their time.
