A report from the Meliá Cuba hotel chain, according to the Prensa Latina agency, informs that a new edition of the famous World Travel Awards for tourism will take place on August 26, to recognize and reward the most outstanding tourist entities internationally.
To highlight the quality of service in Cuban recreational facilities, a group of relevant hotels were nominated, including six hotels managed by Meliá Cuba in city and beach destinations.
Meliá Cayo Coco -a charming All-Inclusive only for adults in the Jardines del Rey- and Meliá Cohiba -located a few steps from the Havana Malecón-, are proposed to be crowned as the Leading Hotel of Cuba, stresses the message of the Spanish hotel company, which is published by Prensa Latina. Likewise, the Master Suite The Level at the Meliá Cohiba could be a winner in the Suite Leader of Cuba category.
Paradisus Río de Oro (Holguín), Paradisus Varadero and Paradisus Princesa del Mar (Varadero), and Meliá Las Dunas (Cayo Santa María) were nominated as Cuba’s Leading Resort.
The first three offer their guests luxury vacations in stunning natural settings and highly personalized service.
Meliá Las Dunas has become a favorite among those who travel with their family, groups of friends or in the context of a special celebration, the press release refers.
Voting will be open until July 9 through the website www.worldtravelawards.com for the World Travel Awards, which celebrate their 30th Anniversary this year and are awarded taking into account the opinion of numerous professionals, travelers and scholars of the entertainment industry.
