The Ceballos Agroindustrial Company, from Ciego de Ávila, continues to harvest mangoes, destined for consumption by the population and industry.
These days, the frequent rains have accelerated the ripening of this fruit and a greater labor force is needed for its harvest, which is why even managers of the aforementioned company transfer their office work to the groves to join the usual workers in this work.
It is assured that last Friday some 6 tons of mangoes were collected, an important figure to incorporate into the diet of the people of Ciego de Ávila and, in addition, to produce jam, juices and other presentations.
The Avilanian agro-industrial company markets its products under the DCeballos brand, recognized throughout the island and in other nations, to which they export their fruits.
