The favorable results of the actions carried out in the community environment with respect to the fight against the Aedes mosquito have meant that the municipality of Majagua no longer represents a danger of dengue transmission.

This was the subject of analysis by the temporary group of the governing body, which highlighted, among other favorable aspects, the reduction of the harmful vector, low infestation rates and the almost total elimination of the reiterative blocks in each of the inspected districts.

However, the fact that we are in the month of September, a time of the year characterized by prolonged rains and high temperatures, leads us not to neglect the auto focal in homes and workplaces, a measure that requires the contribution of all factors.

Likewise, it represents a reason for precaution for this territory that managed to overcome the high level of contagion with the direct action against the breeding sites and the isolation of people who presented suspicious symptoms, the fact of having neighboring localities where the reality is different, reason for which it is decisive to maintain the epidemiological surveillance.
