To promote actions that contribute to transforming negative behaviours that influence road safety, the 61st edition of the National Traffic Day began this Monday in Ciego de Avila and will last until 20 November. The «José Martí» Basic Urban Secondary School (ESBU), in the provincial capital of Avila, was the venue for the opening ceremony, which was attended by directors and officials of traffic and road safety in the territory.
In the meeting, enlivened with the performance of amateur artists and students of the Elementary School of Art «Ñola Sahíg Sainz», the activities to be developed in the heart of the community, the fundamental scenario of the users of the roads, were announced. A parade of motorised vehicles through the main arteries of the City of the Portals closed the act of beginning the activities for the LXI National Day of the Transit in the central Cuban province of Ciego de Ávila.
