Oil workers in Ciego de Avila celebrated their day on the first day of July, with the prospect of a new drilling campaign at the Pina oil field, which will provide the country with a greater quantity of quality crude oil.
The product will be processed at the Sergio Soto refinery in the municipality of Cabaiguán, the main client of the Majagua Drilling and Extraction Base Business Unit, which has fulfilled its production plans by the end of 2023 and is taking action to maintain economic efficiency in the midst of limitations, mainly in terms of electricity for the operation of mechanical pumping equipment.
Without losing sight of the daily actions in the fields, the innovators seek solutions in the workshops to take advantage of the opportunities and extract more black gold from the subsoil, highlighting the collective led by Jorge Luis Díaz Segredo, president of ANIR in the Majagua Oil Drilling and Extraction Unit.
Yoasy Pérez González, Félix Alberto Calvo Pérez, Gustavo de la Cruz Pérez Trujillo, Daniel Gutiérrez Rodríguez, Felixander Alegría Luis and Ernesto García Canfu stand out for their innovative management.
