Candidates for deputies visited production centers, service provision units and communities in the center of the province of Ciego de Ávila
The meeting in the neighborhood and in workplaces with the protagonists of economic and social events, with a view to learning about their concerns and contributing to the solution of everyday problems, is the priority of the candidates for deputies to the National Assembly of Popular Power, for the municipality of Ciro Redondo, located in the center of the province of Ciego de Ávila.
In the last few hours, the two candidates, together with leaders of the territory, visited the Ciro Redondo sugar mill and the nearby bioelectric plant, where they were informed of the actions aimed at reopening the sugar harvest and the commitment of both groups that have the responsibility of guaranteeing the largest volume of the provincial sweet product plan this season.
In addition, they visited maternal and nursing homes; the remodeled La Moderna bakery that is getting ready for its reopening in the Popular Council of Cacahual; the peasant communities of El Barrito and Los Pinos, where the Nguyen Van Troi Credit and Services Cooperative and the José Luis Tassende Agricultural Production Cooperative are located, among other places in direct contact with their inhabitants to also learn about the preparations for the elections nationals of Popular Power, scheduled for the 26th of this month.
For that municipality, the 51-year-old engineer Odetty Pérez Galindo, a delegate from constituency number 8 in the town of Pina and director of the Base Business Unit of the Food Industry, are candidates for deputies for the X legislature of the Cuban Parliament; and Félix Duarte Ortega, Master in Economic and Political Culture, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and head of its agri-food department.
