Members of the Frank País Brigade of the Cuban Baptist Student Worker Coordination (COEBAC) are carrying out a productive work day this week in Ciego de Ávila.

The objective is to encourage the social commitment of Christians through integrated community work, explained Eduardo González Hernández, National Coordinator of COEBAC and Pastor of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ciego de Ávila.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the first national call for the Frank País Brigade, which works at the Dr. Antonio Luaces Iraola Provincial General Teaching Hospital and at the Jardines y Hortalizas Urban Organoponics.

The Frank País Brigade is made up on this occasion of more than sixty Christians from different Baptist congregations from the provinces of Sancti Spíritus, Ciego de Ávila, Las Tunas, Granma and Santiago de Cuba.
