In the II National Workshop on the Teaching of History and Marxism-Leninism, held this May 12 in the Aula Magna of the University of Ciego de Ávila, they recognized professors with an outstanding career in teaching in an uninterrupted manner and the three fiftieth anniversary with that counts the province, founders of the first contingent of the Pedagogical Detachment Manuel Ascunce Domenech.
Among the honorees were the Doctor of Science Reinaldo Estrada Serrano and the Masters Mayda Pérez García and Ángel Cabrera Sánchez, who received Diplomas signed by the President of the Republic Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez.
Upon receiving such recognition, Cabrera Sánchez, Avilanian City Historian, assured that the contest constituted an act of reaffirmation and total support for the Party, the Revolution, Fidel, Raúl and Díaz Canel.
In the conclusions of the II National Workshop on Teaching History and Marxism-Leninism, Yuslayvis Borges González, member of the Party Provincial Bureau, congratulated the honorees and participants in the meeting and expressed the Party’s confidence in the teachers, in the Defense of the Revolution and Socialism.
