With the objective of achieving greater organization in the parade for May Day, International Workers’ Day, the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Workers´ Central Union in Ciego de Ávila reports the location and order of the unions.
The Presidency will be located on the Sports Avenue, corner of 4th street, from where they will begin their journey to Máximo Gómez square, followed by the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, who will also be located on the Sports Avenue and 4th street.
The parade will be opened by the union of Public Health workers, who will be located on 4th street and up to Máximo Gómez.
The second block is confirmed by the Culture workers who will be concentrated in Máximo Gómez corner 4th to 5th street, while Education, Science and Sports make up the third block and will be concentrated in Máximo Gómez st, corner 5th street, up to the Flower Avenue.
For its part, the fourth block is for the workers of the Sugar sector, who will be located on the Flower Avenue, between Máximo Gómez and Libertad, while the affiliates of the Energy and Mining union, in the fifth block will start from the Flower Avenue, between Libertad and Independencia.
The sixth block is made up of Construction workers, who will be located on the Flower Avenue, between Independencia and Joaquín Agüero.
The Seventh block is made up of the union of workers of Communications, Information Technology and Electronics, which will be located on the Flower Avenue, between Joaquín Agüero and Main Road.
They are followed by the members of the Union of Workers of the Food and Fisheries sector on 4th st, between Máximo Gómez and Independencia and the ninth block corresponds to the Industry that will be grouped on 4th st, between Independencia and Main Road,
The workers of the Public Administration Union: will occupy block 10 and will be in Máximo Gómez, between 4th st and 2nd st, while the Farmers and Foresters, Cigar indutry and the peasants will be located in Máximo Gómez, between 2nd st and Line, followed by Hotels and Tourism, which will be located on 3rd st between Máximo Gómez and Independencia.
Commerce, Gastronomy and Services, corresponding to block 13 will be on 3rd st, between Independencia and up to Main Road; followed by the members of the Transport and Port Union, who paraded in block 14 and will concentrate on 2nd st, between Máximo Gómez and Independencia.
Block 15 is made up of the Defense Civilians, which will be located on 2nd st, between Independencia and up to Carretera Central, and this parade is closed by a block of 170 students from the FEEM and the FEU.
