The 10th anniversary banner of the SNTEM goes around work centers in Ciego de Ávila

With the purpose of promoting its work in productive and efficient days in homage to its X anniversary on the 18th, the National Union of Energy and Mining Workers (SNTEM), began the tour of the flag through workplaces in the country last July and is currently in the province of Ciego de Ávila.

A representation of trade unionists from Camagüey delivered the allegorical insignia to their Avilanian counterparts in the Fuel Marketing Territorial Division (Cupet), where commitments were made to ensure compliance with the economic plans and the operation of the union sections.

A crucial moment was the delivery of the National Distinguished Collective certificate to the Office for the Control of the Rational Use of Energy, known as ONURE, for its integral results during 2022.

The flag was also in the Base Business Units for Maintenance of Generator Sets and Geysel Electric Services, while the journey continued through other entities in the sector and will end at the Ciego de Ávila Electric Company to be delivered in the afternoon this Tuesday to the province of Sancti Spiritus.

Sulema Véliz Pina, general secretary of the SNTEM Bureau in the Avilanian territory, highlighted that on the occasion of the X anniversary of this organization, actions have multiplied to promote productive tasks and recognition of workers, especially the members of the Avilanian contingent of the electricity sector that efficiently fulfilled its mission in the recent recovery work in Pinar del Río, after the passage of the Idalia meteorological phenomenon.
