A donation of medicines, medical supplies and powdered milk was received this week by health institutions in the municipality of Morón, in the province of Ciego de Ávila.

Members of the «Alhucema» Association from the town of Morón de la Frontera, in Seville, Spain, brought the donation to the Roberto Rodríguez General Teaching Hospital, the North Community Polyclinic, the Geriatric Home, the Psychopedagogical Centre and the Maternity Home in Ciudad del Gallo.

The municipality of Morón has been twinned with the Seville town of Morón de la Frontera for three decades, where these solidarity actions have been organised on several occasions.

The delegation of the Alhucema Association of Initiatives of Morón de la Frontera, during its stay on the island, participated in the International Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, in the May Day event in Havana and in the VIII Seminar for the elimination of foreign military bases.
