The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education in Ciego de Ávila congratulated the 16 pre-university students who won national competitions in the subjects of mathematics, physics, history, Spanish, English, computer science and geography.
Vivian Rodríguez, head of the department of the Pre-university educational level in the province, especially congratulated Hugo Mustelier Soto from IPVCE Cándido González Morales, who was included in the pre-selection for the International Knowledge Olympics.
This young man is part of the group made up of about 150 students from the country who are in the training center located in the Eduardo García Delgado Pedagogical School, in Havana.
Among the Avilanian students awarded in national competitions are Alejandra Pino Ruiz, Marcos Morán Peralta, Imilka Almeida Fernández, Alexandra González Corzo, Gabriela Samón Morales and Graciel Aguilar Morejón.
