Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel congratulated the staff of the radio station CMHW’s Alta tensión program on the 30th anniversary of its airing in this central Cuban city.

«A hug to the collective of Alta Tensión of CMHW on its 30th anniversary, especially to its director Jorge (Gómez), Xiomara (Rodríguez) and Abel (Falcón). I remember with great affection the times I accompanied them,» the Cuban leader wrote in the X account.

«I am glad to know that you continue to fight against what is wrong and that the listeners continue to trust you,» added the also first secretary of the Cuban Communist Party.

This Saturday the collective established for two hours – as is traditional – a direct dialogue between the listeners and the officials of this province of Villa Clara.

The main host of the program, Abel Falcón, received the National Radio Award in 2022.
