Specialists from Cuba and Russia are continuing a series of studies on infectious diseases, including Oropouche fever, in the Antillean nation today.
According to a report by the TASS news agency, experts from both countries are analysing the current behaviour of different disorders caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites common in the Caribbean region.
In the observations, he notes, high-tech equipment, techniques and systems conceived and developed in the Eurasian nation are used.
According to the notification, these studies should contribute to strengthening humanitarian exchange between Russia and Cuba, and also to global efforts to combat infections with epidemic potential.
This exchange, it notes, takes place in the context of collaboration between the two countries, aimed at ensuring the health and epidemiological well-being of the population.
