The main activity on the second day of Cubaindustria 2024 will be the inauguration of the International Fair of Cuban Industry, which will take place at the Pabexpo exhibition centre.
The event, which runs until 21 June, has a varied programme of activities that includes an International Convention in which 10 congresses related to industrial activity will be held throughout the event.
The XVI International Recycling Congress, the IV Electronics and Automation Congress, the XIX Metallurgy Congress and the IV HABANAPACK 2024 Packaging Congress all kicked off on the opening day of the event.
Some of them will extend their exhibition days until today and others will begin their sessions, such as the IV International Congress of Fashion, Environments and Styles FIMAE 2024; the inauguration of Habana Moda; the International Clothing Industry Symposium; the International Furniture Symposium, and the International Perfumery and Cosmetics Symposium.
During the inauguration of Cubaindustria, the Cuban Minister of Industries, Eloy Alvarez, highlighted the importance of the IV edition of the event, whose fundamental objective is to achieve greater complementarity and integration in pursuit of development.
He assured that the meeting will contribute to technical scientific exchange with an emphasis on encouraging innovation and the application of science in terms of development.
Together with the identification and strengthening of strategic alliances with suppliers and clients to increase and implement the use of the country’s industrial and productive capacities.
Cubaindustria 2024 has a broad agenda of activities that include scientific and technical exchange, the strengthening of technological partnerships, the promotion of exportable items and the consolidation of national productions.
The event runs until 21 June at the Palacio de las Convenciones and the Pabexpo fairgrounds, and its main objective is to achieve greater integration, complementarity and international insertion of the country in the industrial sphere.
