Achieving the active participation of workers in the shaping of the economic plan is one of the priorities of the Workers Union Cenral in Ciego de Ávila (CTC), in honor of the 84th anniversary of its constitution to be commemorated on the 28th of this month, a date on which the trade union movement will also celebrate the 170th anniversary of the birth of José Martí.
In commemoration of both anniversaries, the CTC will carry out several activities that will have as a priority the assemblies in each labor center for the presentation of the economic and budgetary plans corresponding to 2023.
In these meetings, special interest will be given to the vital functioning of the union sections aimed at controlling the execution of financing to continue improving working conditions in healthy and safe working environments, with the vision that human resources are the most important in the production of goods and services.
In the assemblies of affiliates, during the first months of this year, emphasis will be placed on other priorities of the economy plan, such as the application of innovations, the optimal use of raw materials, the substitution of imports, the increase of exports, the increase of labor productivity and efficiency.
