Cooperation agreement signed between Ciego de Avila University and Mozambique University

An Institutional Framework Agreement for academic, research and program management cooperation was established between the Máximo Gómez Báez University of Ciego de Avila and its counterpart in Zambezi, Republic of Mozambique.

The document was signed this week by the rectors of the University of Zambezi and the Doctor of Science Yurisbel Gallardo Ballat, from the University of Avila.

The University of the African country is a public institution of higher education, based in the city of Beira, and began its activities in 2009.

The primary objective of this African educational institution is to offer undergraduate and graduate courses, with bachelor’s, engineering and master’s degrees.

The high house of studies in Ciego de Avila was founded in 1978 and in the last decade has had a remarkable academic and social growth, in addition to increasing its cooperation and exchange projects with counterpart centers in several countries.
