A total of 28 professionals from Avila will participate in the International University Congress 2024, to be held from February 5 at the Havana Convention Palace, under the theme «Higher Education of the Future: social transformation, quality, relevance and sustainability».

Raidy Teidy Rojas Angelbello, vice rector of the Ciego de Avila «Máximo Gómez Báez» University, said that among the topics to be presented at the event are The Moodle platform: A tool for the undergraduate training process in exceptional situations, the pedagogical conception of the community project «Enigmas of life» and the teaching-learning process from self-training.

In this sense, Kevin Marcos Delgado Álvarez, a student of the specialty Law, who will present the paper The role of the University Student Federation in the institutes of Higher Education, assured that the contest will be a key space to build the formation of more comprehensive professionals.

Milaisy González Pérez, María Magdalena Hernández Morales, Osmel Rodríguez Companioni, Rubén Carlos Mayo Márquez and Reinaldo Pablo García Pérez are part of the prestigious delegation from this province to the event.

The International University Congress 2024, which will last until February 9, will be attended by more than 40 countries and approximately 2,000 national papers, which are expected to promote dialogue and reflection on the role of higher education in social transformation.
