Community workshops are held in the different People’s Councils of Chambas with the participation of the delegates from the different constituencies.

These meetings have already taken place in the main district as well as in the communities of Enrique Varona and Ranchuelos, among others. During these exchanges, the delegates present their papers, showing the work carried out in each area and pointing out the main problems affecting the voters. They also propose concrete actions to address these difficulties and improve people’s quality of life.

The community workshops were attended by various social organisations and institutions that play a key role in the community. They have also been attended by the highest authorities of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, who have given their support and contributed their experience in decision-making.

These workshops allow for the exchange of ideas and proposals among community representatives, fostering citizen participation and strengthening local democracy. The commitment and collaboration of all actors involved in these workshops are fundamental to achieving sustainable and equitable development at the grassroots level.
